PCBA product 3C certification process

1. Determine whether 3C certification is required

PCBA itself usually does not directly apply for 3C certification, but if it is used for power supply, 

wireless communication, LED driver, automotive electronics, etc., it may need separate certification.

2. Application process

① Submit application: prepare business license, BOM, specification, test report and other materials.

② Product testing: Conduct electrical safety, EMC, electromagnetic compatibility, environmental adaptability

 and other tests.

③ Factory audit: Check the quality management system (such as ISO9001).

④ Certificate issuance: 3C certification is obtained after the audit is passed, and it is valid for 5 years.

3. Certification maintenance

Regular supervision and audit are required to ensure continuous compliance with standards. Using components

 that have been 3C certified can speed up the certification process.
